Fabulous Caribean Wedding At Fairmont Mayacoba, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, MEXICO
It was a fabulous wedding of Kristen and Jeff, a super nice American couple from Colorado, USA. I was invited to photograph this wedding by my dear friend Citlalli Rico. What a fantastic time we spent together… The wedding of K&J at Fairmont Mayakoba, Mexico was pure joy from the beginning till the end. Actually I was enjoying their company for two days – on the wedding day and also after the wedding day session on Playa del Carmen.

Playa del Carmen after wedding photography session
Playa del Carmen is a Mexican city located along the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It’s one of the top diving destinations in the world, thanks to vibrant sea life and dazzling underwater caverns. An idyllic place located in the heart of the Riviera Maya with fine white sand and blue-green waters. You will find water activities such as windsurfing, jet skis, kayaking or diving in the impressive Mayan coral reef. Notable residents of Playa del Carmen include DJ David Guetta.
The day after the Fairmont Mayacoba wedding we went to Playa del Carmen to do the shooting. First we stopped at a local authentic restaurant, where we ate the best tacos ever. I’m hungry instantly when I think of them… On our way to the beach, we found some really special places and we mixed with the localees. Then the sea… Yeah, Mexico is so colourful and photogenic. We had a lot of fun the whole afternoon till the dark night.
