"I’m an Englishman in Ljublja-a-na"

Carole and Alex are young, adventurous and very pleasant couple from London. They’ll have their wedding in Italy, near Verona. I was so excited when they said that they will come to me – to Slovenia, when we were talking about our meeting point, where we’ll make some pre-wedding photos. We met in the center of Ljubljana and started roaming around the city. There was also street dance festival going on and they joined the party. We had so much fun…

During our gathering the song “I’m an Englishman in New York” by Sting was constantly in my head, but changed into “I’m an Englishman in Ljubljana”.

I can’t wait to meet them again and to be a part of their wedding day.

Carole in Alex sta mlad, avanturističen in zelo prijeten par iz Londona. Svojo poroko bosta imela v Italiji, blizu Verone. Zelo sem bil navdušen, ko sta mi med pogovorom o našem mestu srečanja, na katerem naj bi naredili nekaj preporočnih fotografij, povedala, da bosta prišla k meni – v Slovenia. Srečali smo se v središču Ljubljane in začeli pohajkovati po mestu. Ravno takrat je potekal festival uličnega plesa in par se je udeležil zabave. Bilo je res zabavno…

Med našim druženjem sem imel v svoji glavi ves čas Stingovo pesem “I’m an Englishman in New York”, spremenjeno v “I’m an Englishman in Ljubljana”.

Komaj čakam, da se spet srečamo in da bom del njunega poročnega dne.
